The Mott Park Neighborhood is home to three Little Free Libraries. These libraries are installed at a private individual’s home and surrounding neighbors donate books for other neighbors to read.

It is a "Take a book, return a book" policy and when the weather is nice it is fun to walk from location to location to see what's in the box!

We drop off books after spring cleaning or a garage sale. We have found that these Little Free Libraries have helped spread friendship and a small sense of community just by sharing books.

Below is a link to the organization and a video explaining the project. I feel every neighborhood should have one these to promote literacy and community spirit!
