Dowling is located in the southeast corner of Barry County on M37. As a tiny town it has a gas station/convenience store, a repair shop and several home based business. At its north end is the post office and south is Clear Lake. Clear lake is a shallow lake with two camps, farms and private homes surrounding it. The area is dotted with farms of all sizes and if rural living is what you're looking for this might just be the place. If you are looking for nightlife and shopping you might want to head south to Battle Creek or north to Hastings.
