Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are encouraged. Parks are open from 7:00 a.m. to sunset.

    Caledonia Lakeside Park is located on the shores of Emmons Lake. A playground, beach, picnic areas, and two ball diamonds exist. This is a popular outdoor wedding event space.

    Fred Meijer White Pine Trail is a great place to enjoy fresh air and exercise. The White Pine Trail is a 92-mile trail from Grand Rapids to Cadillac, with a portion of the trail running through Caledonia.

    Spring is on its way. Here along the Thornapple River in Caledonia our beautiful national bird has come back to start sitting on the nest where they raised their young last year. We are so blessed to be here and live with such great freedoms and as we get to this Easter season we celebrate eternal freedoms.
  • We are blessed here in Caledonia in many ways. As we celebrate 2015 Memorial Day, I have posted some pictures that help remind us our freedoms were not free and came at a great cost. These eagles are are raising their young here as so many have for generations. Remember, respect, love, and grace with one nation under God and His wisdom and our Nation will remain great!
  • Caledonia does their annual Christmas Parade in early December. It starts at the Caledonia Athletic Field parking lot and proceeds down the mainstreet of this beautiful quaint community. It is always enjoyed by hundreds of children, families, and onlookers.
  • Caledonia is located 20 miles southeast of Grand Rapids. Conveniently located off of M-37, Caledonia residents have the advantage of small town living while still being within reach of the city atmosphere of Grand Rapids. Caledonia is a growing area.
