With the below zero temperatures that Marquette has been going through, it has brought many challenges. Even so, skating on Lake Superior seems like a once in a lifetime opportunity! I have lived in Marquette my whole life and have not seen this happen yet. Come check it out and see another reason to live in Marquette.

If you are looking for nature's beauty, you will find it in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. In our daily travels, we will find ourselves in the most rural of areas; no Wi-Fi, no cell service, no street lights, no traffic or paved roads - only the sound of water or wind in the trees. In minutes, we can be back in the amazing city of Marquette full of small businesses, local families, and NMU students enjoying the great outdoors. I've been fishing, snowshoeing, and hiking in Marquette Township for many years. People enjoy living here because you are very close to all the conveniences you require but can be in the woods doing your sports from your door. You never know what animals you'll see! The parcels are usually larger with a lower property tax base. It's a wonderful location to live the Upper Peninsula lifestyle! You're only minutes into Marquette City.
  • Downtown Marquette is a thriving business district, with many options for shopping, eating and of course access to the greatest of great lakes, Lake Superior! Living in downtown Marquette affords access to all these wonderful features. Condo living in downtown Marquette allows you to enjoy the outdoors while not having to deal with grass cutting and exterior maintenance. Just get outside and enjoy all that Marquette and this beautiful place we call home has to offer.
  • The Ore to Shore is Michigan's largest mass start point to point bike race. It takes place the second Saturday in August during UP Mountain Bike Week. There are six races to choose, from the 50 yard Littlest Rock to the 48 mile Hard Rock. So bring the whole family.
