    Scotts, Michigan offers several nice lakes that are convenient for the avid ice fisherman. Just off of Sprinkle Road, south of Ramona Park, turn into Long Lake at the public access. The east side of the lake is in Scotts. If the fish are not biting here, go on down Sprinkle Road to "S" Avenue, turn east and go only a couple miles to Pickerel Lake with parking right along the road.

    One of the favorite lakes for ice fishing is about three miles further east on "S" Avenue. Just past the dairy farm, you will find Mud Lake on the left with parking along the road. This is a small lake with great fishing. Have fun and enjoy the great out-of-doors only minutes from Portage.
