    Winshall Park is nestled in "The Village" along the creek. There is a small, fenced-in play area geared toward younger kids, tennis courts with a hitting wall, basket ball courts, a ball diamond, and lots and lots of open space to enjoy the scenery. The park is easily accessible on foot from anywhere in the neighborhood, or you can drive up to the gravel parking area. There is a brick building that houses the bathrooms near the parking area. The park is within walking distance of Swartz Creek High School, Swartz Creek Middle School, and Syring Elementary School.

    Elms Road Park has a little bit of everything! There is a huge wooden playground structure, a big sledding hill, an ice rink (in the winter), tennis courts, a fenced-in dog park, several covered pavilions, a ball diamond, soccer fields, and lots of open space that is used for youth football and cheer practice in the fall! The park is open from dawn to dusk. The wooden play structure has everything from climbing spots, to swings, to bridges and slides - and lots of places for the kids to play hide & seek! Pavilions can be rented and used for birthday parties, fundraisers, family reunions, and so much more! The park is located a very short distance from several fast food options including: McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, Arby's, Taco Bell, and KFC. We used to grab McDonald's and take it back to the park for a picnic before playing!

    Great Lakes Smoothie Co has smoothies, freezes, coffees, kid's selections, and bubble drinks! They also offer paninis, wraps, soups, salads, bagged chips, and bottled soft drinks. In the summer you can sit out on the patio and enjoy the weather as you watch the bustle of the little downtown area or you can snag a table inside to enjoy your treats. The s'mores ice cream smoothie is my favorite! It tastes just like a campfire s'more!

    Yum! We love heading to Feather n' Fin for ice cream, flurries, and shakes in the summer! There is a walk-up ordering window as well as a drive-through window for those on the go. After ordering you can find a place to relax at a variety of patio tables under umbrellas and a covered pavilion. There is even a picnic table for the little ones! My favorite treat is Moose Tracks in a cone!
    Feather n' Fin is a family-owned business and a big part of the Swartz Creek community. They participate in many local events, including the Hometown Days celebration.

    A staple in Swartz Creek since 2017, The Draft Sports Bar & Grille offers a full menu of appetizers; including soft pretzels, nachos, Buffalo Chicken Dip which is my favorite, burgers, and sandwiches. There is also an inclusive drink menu including a variety of beers on tap, in a bottle/can, and mixed drinks. Don't forget the dessert menu! Raspberry Chimichangas - raspberry cheesecake filling rolled in a deep-fried tortilla served with caramel and chocolate dipping sauces.
    On top of the fantastic food choices, you can find Monday Night Trivia and live music as well as weekly specials! Stop in and check them out!

    Swartz Creek has a great place to get delicious cheesecake. It's called "Best Cheesecake Ever" and it lives up to its name. My favorite is their Turtle Cheesecake, but they have a very large assortment of flavors to appeal to everyone.

    Swartz Creek has an awesome new attraction; The Smoothie Shop! It was voted Best of the Best for 2016. I took my daughter there for a girl's day out for her birthday and had a wonderful time. The owner greeted us and even offered my daughter a free ice cream for her birthday! They have a huge selection of smoothies, wraps, salads, and coffees too! They offer many varieties for health-conscious customers as well, including almond milk, and sugar-free options. Sip your smoothie while sitting at their trendy, hip bar, or relax in a more cozy chair; the choice is yours!
