Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to shake it up in Milford on Thursday, July 25, starting at 7:00 pm with Steve King and the Ditties. The band has been playing around town since the 1970's. They have some great music and a few laughs thrown in.Central Park is the place to be on Thursday evenings in Milford, the town is alive with people and pets of all ages. If the weather holds up it will be a perfect night to pack a cooler, grab a chair or blanket and head to the park. A few of the local restaurants serve food and non alcoholic drinks and the bands usually have a space set up to sell their wares; t-shirts, hoodies, jewelry, etc. It's also fun just to "people watch" or meet up with friends. A limited amount of alcohol is allowed in the park.Milford has plenty of parking near Kroger, the YMCA or the library if you like to walk otherwise get there early to find a spot in the park. Personally, I think the best way to do it is to load your bike, park at the lot on GM Road, ride through Kensington then ride to the concert. Don't forget to stop for ice cream at Milford House!
