We recently drove out to East Grand Rapids and discovered an amazing shop that we'd like to share with you! Agate & Herb, located on Wealthy Street, offers a collection of curated and handmade goods that make wonderful gifts for your loved ones or even for yourself. During our visit, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner, BreAnna, who was very insightful and welcoming. We were blown away by the beauty of the handmade Polish pottery and the exquisite jewelry. As a graduate gemologist, BreAnna was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with all of the pieces. With Valentine's Day just around the corner, we highly recommend checking out Agate & Herb for the perfect gift.

I love to feel the warmth of spring approaching as many others that live in Michigan do! While strolling through East Grand Rapids the other day, it was wonderful to see so many people outdoors. In this quaint city, at the slightest bit of a decent temperature... there are many outside and enjoying the weather. Dogs being walked, kids playing frisbee in the park, babies in strollers, and smiles/"hello's" are what you'll see and hear around this neighborhood.

East Grand Rapids was once home to President Gerald R. Ford and carries much charm. Well-known Reeds Lake is the center of attention for the city, and as summer approaches, it will house many sailboats, water skiers, fishing boats and swimming. You'll see picnics around the lake and those enjoying the several mile long walking trail around the area as well. What a gem!
