Grand Ledge is rich in history from mining to chair production to brick making. Grand Ledge's Lincoln Brick Park named for the Lincoln Brick Company that once operated on the site is a beautiful place to explore. The Lincoln Brick Company closed in 1947 but remains of the facilities are scattered across the park. Today, skeletons of buildings, furnaces, mounds of brick and scraps of iron can be found across the park, reminders of the flourishing company that once stood proud.

Hike the nature trails and do a little fishing in the quarry as you explore the park and learn about what was once the Lincoln Brick Company.

Known for its ledges, this quaint little town has a lot to offer. Just minutes from the Capitol of Michigan, this town is also known for quaint homes that are on tree-lined streets. There are cute shops, wonderful restaurants, and bakeries. The Opera House, with beautiful gardens and a river trail, will delight those who love the outdoors. The Island Art Fair, and Victorian Days are just two of the fun filled days that happen every year. To top it off the, Holiday Home Tour is delightful showcasing the many tastes and history of today and yesteryear. You will love it as much as I do.
