The West Lansing retail trade area is anchored by the Lansing Mall. Opened in 1969, the Lansing Mall is over 830,000 square feet of indoor covered mall shopping. The surrounding land is a mix of mall out parcels with tenants such as Best Buy, Longhorn Steak, Verizon, Applebee's and the US Postal Service as well as traditional retail centers to the East and West of the Mall.The surrounding retailers include big boxes like Target, Meijer, Hobby Lobby, Planet Fitness, Big Lots and ABC Warehouse.
