Vicky was great to work with. So was recommended to me and I after working with her I would absolutely recommend her also. I was a first time house buyer and she helped me throughout the entire process, answering any questions I had. She gave a lot of good advice about what was good and what was bad about a house. She wanted to make sure a house fit my needs and that I would be happy with it. She made sure I didn't just buy a house, but that I bought a home that I am truly happy with.

Vicky was wonderful to work with and helped us purchase a home in Saginaw Township from almost 800 miles away! We were in a time crunch, unable to house hunt in person, and had a lot of items on our "must have" list. Vicky was patient with us as we figured out just what our priorities were for our future home's features and quick to respond to our requests for showings. She was very flexible, fitting in multiple showings over weekends and early in the morning to fit our family's schedule and the time difference. She took us on virtual walk-throughs, answering all of our questions and giving honest feedback on the things that were difficult to see on video (like wear and tear on flooring, quality of finishes, etc.). She steered us away from a situation where she thought we were perhaps being used to raise another offer and gave us reliable guidance when it came time to make an offer on the house that we purchased. We so enjoyed working with Vicky, not only did her skill and professionalism benefit us, but her positivity and kindness made the experience even better. When people heard we were buying a house long-distance, without having seen it in person, they were often surprised and would say, "Wow, I don't think I could do that," and our response would be, "Well, we have a really great realtor, and we trust her 100%."

As a first time home buyer, I had a lot of questions. Vicky answered every call and responded to all requests. Vicky is extremely familiar with the Midland and surrounding area markets. I highly recommend.

I used Vicky when I was looking for a condo in the Midland-Bay City-Saginaw area. Was very impressed with her detailed insights into the various communities I was visiting and her comprehensive knowledge of the buying process. She is easy to work with, flexible and very responsive to questions. She made a number of valuable suggestions for items I was not considering but glad to find out. You need Vicky, even if you don't know it. She went above and beyond in helping us. We started our house hunt from out of state, and Vicky did video tours of a couple of houses with us. When we moved to Midland, our rental fell through, and Vicky quickly found us a place and even delivered a casserole! The housing market was very tight, so it took us a couple of months and a few offers before an offer was accepted. She was very communicative the whole time, and gave us a heads up when she heard something new was coming in the market so we could tour that day. This is the third home we have purchased in 5 years and Vicky was by far the best real estate agent we have worked with. Thank you Vicky!

I have worked with Vicky both the sell and buy a house. She was very quick to respond to phone calls and texts. She has excellent knowledge of the area market and got top dollar for the house that I sold. She was very patient when I was looking for a house and showed me many houses in the area and price range that I set. She pointed out things that were positive and negative with houses that she showed me and gave her honest opinion on what she thought the house was worth.

I called Vicky (referred by a family friend) out of the blue one afternoon about a house I saw online that I liked. She was able to meet me late that evening to see the house and submitted an offer for me the next morning. Vicky was extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout the entire house buying process. Hiring Vicky Sowden of Remax of Midland was the worst decision we made for selling our home for us. She did not communicate willingly with us at all and when she did it was cryptic and disjointed. She frequently told us “what we wanted to hear” and not what was actually happening. She refused to make any follow up phone calls on any issue that came up. She held our offers from us until 30 minutes before we had to make a decision and offered us zero assistance with how to choose an offer to accept. Vicky worked really hard to get the buyer everything that they wanted and did nothing to help us with what we wanted. If you are unfortunate and end up working with her, make sure you get everything she tells you in writing because she will not get the actual information for you until you press her for it to be in writing.

Vicky did an excellent job on finding me a home. She followed through on every step of the purchase and handled any and all issues that came up in a very timely and satisfyingly manor. Her communications were excellent. Vicky is very professional and knows her trade with perfection. I would recommend Vicky and her group for either the selling or buying side of a home.
