  • News...the City of Kalamazoo is installing a "Pop-Up" trail across Downtown Kalamazoo on the weekend of June 18, 2015. The trail will be temporary with cones and barrels. It will allow trail riders and the City to try it out and to see what needs to be done differently. The trail will connect to the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail that currently ends at Westnedge Avenue, on the west side of Downtown to Harrison Street where the trail picks up on the east side of Kalamazoo.

Did you know that the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail connects directly to the Kal Haven Trail and that you can bicycle from the City of Kalamazoo to Lake Michigan? The trail is separated from roads so families have a more comfortable ride with less traffic. See you on the trail!
  • One of the best kept "secrets" in the healthy theater scene in Kalamazoo is the new Vic Theater on East Vine Street in downtown Kalamazoo! Well known for its annual presentation of "A Christmas Carol", the classic from Charles Dickens, The new Vic is also home to the best consistently high quality productions from musicals to Neil Simon plays. And it is a tremendous value as well. A season subscription provides admission to six productions throughout the year in this very intimate and personal setting! It is truly delightful entertainment on a yearlong basis. Check it out on Facebook!

Bell's is a local (Kalamazoo) brewery, and the Eccentric Cafe is where they feature up to 20 of their beers. They also have a unique menu that includes daily specials, most featuring local food sources. Most weekends they have live music, and offer many special events, including trivia on Sunday afternoons.
