My husband and I chose to purchase a home at the corner of Wooded Lane and Hill Road one block off East Drive when our children were 15, 13 and 9 because as working parents with three children in school, we needed convenience. This neighborhood allowed us to live within walking distance of the elementary and high school and our middle school student could bus from the elementary if necessary. We planned on staying roughly five years and ended up staying for 12!

Wooded Lane is full of gorgeous mature trees and a very popular place for dog lovers to walk their pets. We could walk to the high school for football games, walk downtown for the Fourth of July barbeque, and walk into town to catch a movie at the local Bogar Theatre that gives you the latest movies at only $5.50 for a ticket.

This neighborhood is the epitomy of small town neighborhood living.
