    A view of the bay by day, the city lights by night. This special piece of land offers both. This is a 40 acre parcel of land near the intersection of M-22 and M-72 with a nice elevation. Experts from the Northwest Michigan Invasive Species Network said 72% of it was covered with Black Locust, Common Buckthorn and other invasive species. So, we set about to make it a place where native plants and trees will be safe and can thrive again. SEEDS Youth Conservation Corps removed the invasive species and already have planted 2,000 small trees. Taking out invasive species and replanting with native trees provided an opportunity to frame the view.
    The Moorings of Grand Traverse will have single family homes with sidewalks, trails, and connections to the TART bike path on sites that look out over the bay and downtown Traverse City.
