Grand Ledge is rich in history from mining to chair production to brick making. Grand Ledge's Lincoln Brick Park named for the Lincoln Brick Company that once operated on the site is a beautiful place to explore. The Lincoln Brick Company closed in 1947 but remains of the facilities are scattered across the park. Today, skeletons of buildings, furnaces, mounds of brick and scraps of iron can be found across the park, reminders of the flourishing company that once stood proud.Hike the nature trails and do a little fishing in the quarry as you explore the park and learn about what was once the Lincoln Brick Company.
