    Grand Ledge is rich in history from mining to chair production to brick making. Grand Ledge's Lincoln Brick Park named for the Lincoln Brick Company that once operated on the site is a beautiful place to explore. The Lincoln Brick Company closed in 1947 but remains of the facilities are scattered across the park. Today, skeletons of buildings, furnaces, mounds of brick and scraps of iron can be found across the park, reminders of the flourishing company that once stood proud.

    Hike the nature trails and do a little fishing in the quarry as you explore the park and learn about what was once the Lincoln Brick Company.
  • Known for its ledges, this quaint little town has a lot to offer. Just minutes from the Capitol of Michigan, this town is also known for quaint homes that are on tree-lined streets.     Grand Ledge is located on the banks of the Grand River. The historical downtown district features Island Park and is also the host to a number of annual events, Most people do not know that there was once, in the early 1900s, a wooden roller coaster located on the island that attracted visitors years ago.

    From the Island, you can take a walking path downriver that takes you to another attraction called the Ledges of Grand Ledge. The end of the path brings you to the entrance of Fitzgerald Park located just above the "Dam" of the Grand River. Grand Ledge also hosts a number of seasonal parades along with summer youth baseball and downtown restaurants. Grand Ledge is a community to enjoy.
