Where do we start? That's exactly what my husband and I were asking ourselves when it came time to sell our home. Not knowing local realtors, we contacted a realtor we had worked with in another city for advice. He wasn't acquainted with anyone here so did some searching. He recommended we contact Kelly. His reasoning was her standing in the community, years of experience and ability to move sales along. So that's where we started.
I do have to say I was very nervous starting the entire process. Kelly totally alleviated any worries I had immediately. On our first meeting she was extremely prepared. She had information on houses surrounding us that had sold in the past year, their values, length of time on the market. Anything we needed for comparison. She did a walk through of our home, listened to what we thought were the best selling points. She was able to give us an idea that day of what a reasonable selling price would be. She also left us with an entire folder of ideas about how to present the home for showings, and what to expect.
Once our home was listed she stuck to the bargain of always giving us sufficient notice of showings. She was careful to group appointments to make being out more convenient for us. When offers came in, she presented them to us at once so we could review them and compare as we made our decision which to accept. Her service did not stop there either. After we had a contract, she stayed in the picture until we closed on the deal, making sure all the inspections went well and questions asked by the buyer were answered. During the entire time I felt comfortable that she was looking out for our best interest. I also felt at the closing that she was making sure the buyer's interest was being looked after.
I would definitely say she is the epitome of professionalism. In the beginning she told us the right person would find our home, and in the end that's exactly what happened. No surprises!
