    We met Karen when another realtor we had contacted was about to take some vacation time. So we really didn't know much about her, but she turned about to be an excellent fit for us. As first-time home-buyers, she answered our questions, worked with our schedules, and helped us to know what to look for when seeing homes. Would highly recommend!

    - First, we don't give bad reviews, but this can't be overlooked. Maybe it will help others and/or help Karen remember what's important.. like the clients! Karen was hired by an irate sibling to help sell a home that was an inheritance property on acreage in a strong market and area. To us, she took an easy deal and made ALOT of money for the little / no work she did ON BOTH SIDES of the transaction (she had power to negotiate). We had no choice or input (due to irate sibling), which is not her fault. However, she unfortunately, did not agree to find other buyers to get the top price (nor explain anything to us), plus had the aid of 2 attorneys (we had to pay), nor agree to take a lesser commission as the broker on both sides for the little work done; Afterall, the tenants were buying the property! We even gave her needed info and made sure she got it timely w/her few responses or help i.e. title. She could've been more explanatory even with attorneys in the background. We feel she could've done much more to help us honor our parents home with the inheritance left for their family that one sibling already had made selfish choices on. We truly support good realtors who want to serve their clients best interests and should be paid for such. However, from our perspective it was business for top dollar without even a "thank you" for the $$$ she received! To us, the deal mattered more then the people. I'd never hire her or refer her.
    ***After the 2017 appraisal that we ordered, we got $40k more because the MARKET shifted this year. Not due to her work.

    Dear irate sibling, I am so sorry you feel this way, this was a complex transaction and I believe you received the highest and best deal on this property, as it sold for over $40,000 above the appraisal you had done before I listed it.
