I can tell you from personal experience that Forest Hills is a great place to grow up. In many of the subdivisions there is access to local parks, playgrounds, pools, and areas for the community to get together. Specifically, the Forest Hills Park Association in the Greenbrier neighborhood has all of the above! Memorial Day pancake breakfast, Easter eggs hunts, 4th of July bike parade for kids; it's all great. During the summer months, you can find families cooling off in the water, eating lunch on the pool deck, and groups playing beach volleyball, tennis, or baseball. The Forest Hills Park Association supports and encourages an active community and we all certainly have had our fun there!

There is also a summer swim team that competes against other local pool associations. With morning swim practices, it's a great way for middle school and high school age kids to be active in the summer and also to get them out of bed! For the younger ones, swim lessons run for all ages. Don't forget about the tennis lessons either!

Community events, great schools, a strong community feel, and access to local amenities makes Forest Hills worth visiting in person!

Western Michigan is not a stranger to top ranked schools in Michigan. Forest Hills School District boasts three schools in the top 99 percentile. This makes Forest Hills Schools very desirable and with current inventory level hovering around 2.2 months, finding the right home can be down right exhausting. For homeowners looking to list their home, now is the perfect time to take advantage of the market. For buyers, interest rates are still very attractive.
  • These are perfect communities that have plenty to offer in the areas close to the Rockford and Forest Hills School Districts and the Belmont area with nearby golf and the Rogue River/Parks. The Rockford area has the laid back charm of the Rockford Dam and Downtown Rockford restaurants and shopping. Lots of family fun can be found at the Canonsburg Ski area and the nearby Townsend Park. The Cascade and Ada area are nestled near the Thornapple River, Grand River.

You'll find plenty of shopping, good restaurants and beautiful parks. Additionally, there's the convenience of having Grand Rapids only 15 minutes away. Family and students have a variety schools too choose from in the Forest Hills School district that include Forest Hills Northern, Central and Eastern High School.
